They voted for his Karen Hughes/Karl Rove manufactured personality. And they voted for him in spite of his policies, hoping he would be better in the second term.

If only that extraction could be applied to the WH/Congress, from which I don't completely exempt members of the Independent/Dem parties.

5. What fucking energy initiatives?
Maybe the one that runs up gas prices to record highs while not raising gas mileage standards? Maybe the one that give you a tax credit for buying a Hummer but phases out the credit for buying a hybrid vehicle? Or, maybe it's the one where the Iraqi oil fields are sold to the major oil companies?

9. I think they're the ones that make energy companies ...
... and their executives richer and make the rest of us pay through the @$$ to get to work.

The ones where technological advances, that would make us less dependent on fossil fuels, are unfunded and discouraged...
