Central Oregon’s Deschutes Democrats invite the community to an open house at their new year round office located at The Spectrum Building, 354 N.E. Greenwood Ave., #107, Bend, Oregon on Friday, April 29, 2005, from 5:00 PM TO 8:00 PM. Parking in rear.

At the open house there will be the opportunity for voter registration and purchase of raffle tickets. Other fund raising will include a no-host bar. Actives will reflect the Democrats increased focus on grassroots support and local politics with plenty of time for socializing.

As number of registered Democrats grew in Central Oregon the need became apparent to open a year round office in Bend. The office provides a place for volunteers to work on Party concerns. It also is where new and old Democrats can come to get information. It is a place where voters can come to register.

The opening of local Democratic offices is part of the new DNC strategy under the direction of Gov. Dr. Chair Howard Dean. The increased connection and communication between local, state and national Democratic Party is leading to greater grassroots support. Dr. Howard Dean understands that “all politics are local” and one way to stay connected is through having a local office..."

1. Just to show how far-sighted the Pasco-FL DEC is
They just shut down their office. Mind Boggling.

4. Thanks.
I have suspicions about some of our Florida Democrats. They have been Republican too long.

Will check my inbox. Maybe later, though.

6. Got them.
I am just finding out some more dirty dealings in Florida, wondering whether posting would be divisive or cleansing. Scratching my head what to do.

Cleansing for me, divisive over all. Maybe another time.

Hang in there, change will take a long time.
