Are the new SCOTUS nominees known?
I don't know who they are, but do the powers that be, and is that one reason why the fillibuster is such a big issue?:hide:

1. I believe that is
the main reason for the filibuster issue.

2. ummmmm.......in order for there to be a SCotUS nominee
doesn't there first need to be a vacancy?

Perhaps you are thinking of * nominations to federal court vacancies?

3. We know some will have to be replaced soon due
to age, illness, etc., but no actual names are known? I'm curious because the argument is about future conservative nominees who are as yet unknown? Federal court vacancies are crucial, I realize, but Supreme Court replacements are critical. I guess I'm wondering what the actual fight is about. Is it such a broad issue, i.e., federal and supreme?

4. I'm sure Bush has a short list
which have been researched already in case an opening occurs.

5. Following their current tactics, they'll nominate ROBERT BORK
These are privileged and nasty little creeps who need to humiliate their opponents and dance on their graves. They're probably chatting over their cauldron about Ken Starr, but even they probably know he's too hot.
