Excerpt from yesterday's London Evening Standard Londoners'Diary (sorry, no internet link on this one):

A disgusting alien was posing as Prime Minister outside the steps of No 10 Downing Street and warned that danger was imminenet from "massive weapons of destruction".

Indeed, said the vile creature, the enemy could cause annhilation within "45 seconds".

Presumably this was a purposeful echo of Tony Blair and Alistair Campbell's infamous '45 minute' claim about Saddam Hussain's WMDs. No wonder Labour has reportedly had problems trying to recruit Eccleston to support the party at the election.
