Bush's bouncer gets around
http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~115~2835869,00.html

The White House keeps insisting that the guy impersonating a Secret Service agent who tossed the so-called Denver Three out of President Bush's Social Security road show here on March 21 was a nobody, an overzealous Republican Party volunteer, a rogue vigilante bouncer.

If that's true, this guy really gets around.

He was in Fargo - always a hotbed of dangerous political insurgency in this country - prior to Bush's Feb. 3 appearance in a Social Security town meeting.

There he blackballed more than 40 North Dakotans, placing their names on a list to be denied tickets and excluded from the event because they could not be certified as Kool-Aid-drinking Bushies.

He was in Tucson on March 21 when he refused access to the Social Security town meeting to ticket-holder Steven Gerner, who was found guilty of wearing a University of Arizona Young Democrats T-shirt....

1. Any mug shots of this bozo?
If the Denver Post has managed to track The Bouncer this far, perhaps an actual photo can't be far behind. Ha -- possibly a sketch artist might be of some help.

3. The Secret Service are not happy, apparently
It's three years in the pokey for pretending to be one of them. They are not about to let this slide: http://www.sitnews.us/0405news/042505/042505_shns_bush_eviction.html

They still aren't giving up the name, but they are investigating. I imagine the pressure put on them by Salazar and Udall is helping the effort along.

4. Untouchable
While the Secret Service might be p-o'd, they are part of the Treasury Dept., and report to the Bushniks. The guy is probably well-connected, protected, and untouchable.

2. But the bush team disavows all knowledge of his...
identity and his attendance at these functions? :eyes: He's like a Grateful Dead fan I guess. Roaming from town to town to keep anyone that doesn't BELIEVE out of these PUBLIC events.
Makes sense to me.

6. The disavow knowledge.
If you don't know anything to start with it is easy to not know anything.

8. Are there any pictures of this guy?
Or the others with him?

"And he was in Portsmouth, N.H., on Feb. 16 when he and another guy dressed to look like a Secret Service agent with a serious weight problem ejected two middle-aged women from a sparsely attended Social Security town meeting there."

9. Are they saying the same person was at all these places?
So he's traveling around with the Social Security Tour?

How? Who is paying his expenses? How is he getting admitted to the events? Who is clearing him to wander around near the President wearing an earpiece and pretending to be a part of the President's protective detail?

I don't believe for a minute that Bushco and the SS don't know about this guy (or guys). The Secret Service watches people at these events. They are trained to spot anyone suspicious. A stranger wearing a suit and an earpiece and acting like one of them is suspicious. The same face showing up at many presidential appearances in different states is suspicious.

I don't believe for one second that the Secret Service doesn't know who these guys are. If they don't, then they are totally incapable of protecting the President.
