I get a tad tired of the "flood the email-box" and "call the office of (insert politicians name)"
Print that letter and MAIL it. Emails are easily deleted and, beyond sheer numbers, the content doesn't matter.
Ditto for phone calls. It may wind up as a check mark in the "for" or "against" column, but besides that it doesn't count for much.
I'm not saying don't do it - but don't waste any effort putting major thought into it unless all you care about is adding to the numbers. It's fast, easy, and free.
If you DO want to make a point, print up that puppy and mail it. A real, live piece of mail will get attention in a way that email or a phone call never will.
Email is a blessing and a curse, when it comes to communication. It's gotten us to write correspondence again, which was, for all practical purposes, a lost art. But it's also become an overly facile and very-easy-to-ignore vehicle.
If you've got something worthwhile to say it's worth the postage.
