Cornyn refuses to apologize and blames the Democrats!
transcripts by Sunday MorningTalk from FOX NEWS SUNDAY/CHRIS WALLACE:

CORNYN: I didn't make the link, Chris. It was taken out of context. I regret that it was taken out of context and misinterpreted. The truth is that it was the Democratic Senatorial Campaign
Committee that sent out an e-mail right after I left...

WALLACE: You don't think you said anything wrong?

CORNYN: Well, I regret that I said it perhaps poorly, but it was
a 30-minute speech on the larger topic of whether judges are engaging
in policymaking. And I regret that some people interpreted that --
misinterpreted it -- to suggest something I didn't intend....

It's always the Democrats fault. Also, Chris Wallace asks some good questions on the show, but never interupts Cornyn's answers, while constantly impeding Schumer's responses.

13. Ugh
I get so sick and tired of these asses blaming US for THEIR mistakes. Be men! REAL men take responsibility for their own mistakes you big baby. The democrats are always cleaning up after republican shit. I get so sick and tired of it.

2. He regrets saying it poorly?
He regrets that others misinterpreted what he intended to say?

This is a former judge. A judge that must/should be precise in their rulings so that there is no doubt on the intent.

Aren't they able to go back and make corrections to statements that they make on the floor?

4. Senator Cornyn is a liar. Fox News will permit --
-- GOP representatives and senators to lie through their teeth as often as possible.

Chris Wallace is an intelligent man who could work for a better and higher purpose than shilling for Republicans on Fox News.

One might as easily say that Fox reporters have no balls.

Brains, perhaps. But no balls.

10. But none have bigger balls
than Anne Coulter. Actually I'm wondering about the brains. Seems to me they're just recorders, spewing the Bushco line to all their drones. They don't think, just regurgitate propaganda.

11. On second pass, I think you're right, kliljedahl. Maybe --
-- they don't have either balls or brains. And never mind souls.

I'd really enjoy a class-action suit against Fox for misrepresenting the facts on any number of stories. Johnny Carson used to sue the tabloids and won most of those cases.

8. Bush is the greatest president who ever lived, or ever WILL live.
By that, of course, I mean Bush is a jerk and is the king of all jerks. Anyone who would get anything other from what I said earlier is wilfully misrepresenting me because of their political agenda.

16. A good question for Wallace to have asked would have been
what policy-making are the judges engaging in and to what specific case are you referring to. But as we all know, the obvious question is not our so-called media's specialty. Because if Wallace had asked that, then Cornyn would have replied with "hamana hamana hamana," and Wallace knows better than to provoke that kind of response by a republican to a pointed question.

17. Sounds like Turtle Man's been taking lessons from Bob Boudelang...
"The Democrats made me do it!"

(talking directly to Cornyn now)

No, Cornyn, you did it to yourself. The fact that the Democrats took advantage of it isn't an indication that you didn't do anything wrong - in fact, the opposite is true. You would do well here to offer up something like "I screwed up", but I guess you're content with playing the "infallable neocon" card.
