-snip-

Bush arrived in Vatican City in a limo displaying two flags, an American flag on one fender and the Vatican banner on the other.

3. Was it a requirement by the Vatican?
Since they were part of an official delegation, it may have been required.

11. Now that you mention it....
...yes indeedy!

I've always thought Chimpy resembled Ted Bundy; his fellow Republican serial killer.

17. Oh man! The master of pratfalls would do wonders for the role!
That is an excellent suggestion.

Wonder if Chevy would do it - he's a huge Dem. :)

10. Last night I searched until my fingers bled.
There's no official video since the boos occurred outside the square...out of earshot of Lieboy. We'll have to keep searching Indymedia etc. for a video taken by a participant outside the gates.
No news media link...and I checked the Italian tv feeds as well.

As Randi Rhodes said in disgust yesterday, "It never happened" and won't be covered by the MSM in this country.

Our only hope is a foreign reporter or citizen.

I'd PAY to see that video.

7. Flying the Vatican flag is protocol.
The general stupidity of bush and/or rove has nothing to do with it. President Kerry would have had the same flag arrangement.

18. The only difference is that Kerry could have gone strolling
with Clinton and would have been welcomed in the streets of Italy. This numbnuts is so afraid of anyone who is the slightest bit different, definitely xenophobic, that I could never imagine him walking through the streets of a different country. Or even NY for that matter.
