Republicans are the TRUE conservationists -- at least that's what Republican uber-strategist Frank Luntz wants people to believe. He stresses that, while the terms "Environmentalist" or "Preservationist" provokes images of whackos and hemp smokers, "Conservationist" brings thoughts of 'commonsense' concern for the environment and its natural resources. And thus, Republicans should promote themselves as "Conservationists".
Does that sound like the Republican Party you know? Thanks once again to

This is
must-read stuff!

http://www.politicalstrategy.org/archives/001330.php#1330Once again, we are presenting, in an online, readable format for the first time in the history of the web... Frank Luntz's "Straight Talk" pp. 131-146 (Environment).
As you can see, this is but a small part of a much larger document. Thus, I've contacted my in-the-loopers to see if they can work their way toward the rest of the beast.
For now, let's take a look at Frank's insight on the linguistic gymnastics required for the GOP to hoodwink the world on the topic of the environment -- how the Republicans (were) shooting themselves in the feet and how they plan to eliminate their "environmental credibility gap".
Read the unbelievable "Straight Talk" here.
