Is Barney Franks the only Dem in Washington with a pair of nuts??

He is the only one willing to take the GOP on. A few things to keep in mind

1) Being correct isn't worth a damn when you keep losing.

2) The GOP has figured out that they can occasionally piss off their base because they know they will still vote for them in the end.

3) The right wing nuts have captured the media because they raised hell. We can't raise shit and until we do the media isn't going to pay the dems the time o day.

4) Take the fight to them. Hell what have we got to lose?

5) I'm fairly sick and tired of not having someone in DC willing to stand up and fight with the GOP leadership.

2. I would appreciate a more positive heading

This is about the 3rd or 4th of this type of heading I've seen in the last two days.

Each time the heading refers to a different Dem, so people at DU have found at least 3 or 4 Dems with guts.

I think lots of Dems are speaking up, but you just don't hear what they say in the MSM. I suggest you go to different places to learn what Dems are really saying. Personally, I like Raw Story.

Raw story is preaching to the choir. If I have to go to Raw Story to find out what dems are saying then they are not speaking out loudly then are they. This is a war for America and we are getting our asses kicked. Not because we are wrong--we are in fact correct, but we continuously shoot ourselves in the foot. The media will only listen if we demand they listen and lately hell, for a long time, we haven't made any appreciable noise. If the DC democrats think they are going to sit around waiting for the GOP leadership to self-destruct they are living in fantasyland.

I think that blaming the Dems for the MSM is counterproductive.

5. He was sthe lead person out there giving it the the repubs for ..

their demogoguing of Terri Shiavo. He has consistely been out there on issue after issue. When Harry Reid became the minority leader, I thought he would be tough but so far I haven't seen it. This filibuster issue is the only thing I have heard him on and that has been weak too. My God, take it to these piss-ant GOP leaders.
