that even though Rush had opened the door for the rest of the conservative radio guys, and that this supposedly meant they weren't supposed to go after him, he said he couldn't take it any more. He played a bit of a Rush snippet, something apologetic about Bush, and laughed his head off.

I wish I could remember what he played that he found so funny.

I guess some Conservatives are sick of the Bush personality cult.

I've heard him say that he's against the war. Now, take this with a grain of salt. He also said that we should inform entire Iraqui cities we're about to bomb and then just level the whole city to debilitate "insurgents."

BTW - how can you be an "insurgent" in your own country?

Reminds me of the preacher who came to my college and described his life before he was saved. It sounded like he'd been quite the shmuck as an unbeliever. And becoming a believer hadn't done a damn thing to fix that shmuckiness. He was still a tool, just a believing tool.

The same goes for these former liberals I reckon. They probably weren't terribly clearheaded even when they were on the liberal side. Right side, wrong reasons if you know what I mean. Or maybe there was something that chased them away legitimately. I don't know. I can't imagine these guys having a heart, which I think is prerequisite for being a liberal. I dunno.

Funny how your worst enemies always seem to come from within. It never ceases to amaze me that our worst enemies were our best friends at one time.
