have the repukes worn out the "liberal media" meme
It hasn't been true since Watergate. The Repukes have been flogging it daily for 20-odd years now. Cockroach DeLay is the latest.

It doesn't seem to be registering with the public anymore though.

Is this because no one believes it anymore?

Or because the neotheocon faithful and the ignorant Murkan public have become desensitized?

1.  with the repukes take over of msm, it's interesting to see,

where people are turning for news and entertainment. there were the Bush bashing books, the use of the Internet by Dean and others, websites like d/u, blogs and seeing Howard Stern's end run around Clear Channel with satellite raido...it gives me heart that the truth is still coming out if you are willing to go find it...Fox has Finlay admitted that it's not a news organization but an entertainment media. I do feel that people are getting fed-up, and I think the market place will change..you still need to" sell soap"

2. the Murkan model requires the sale of soap anyway
I think alternative media for legit news and leveraged for political purposes could be a catalyst for a paradigm shift in media

3. They are on to scapegoating the judges and academics. It seems

the have to keep switching scapegoats to keep intensity up. Hitler had a few and just kept upping the human rights abuses to keep it all... ah.... er.... "fresh" in the minds of his delusional followers.

Fortunately Karl Rove/GOP feels they cannot up the anti - so must keep finding new targets in order to keep the .... ah.... er... "blood flowing".

IMHO ***hole!

6. Thats the thing. A Rove will be dead in another 40 years. A corporation
that is wholly sociopathic and teaches that to its 'humans' and attracts the evil MBAs... a corporation like that should go on forever.

There should be a renewal of incorporation every 25 years. That way.. voters can pull the plug on something that abuses power, causes too many externalities, does no giving back, his evil. If it looses its incorporation..then it gets taken apart and stockholders can decide which other corporations can take over the parts. Would also force corporations to think in the longer term...rather than just the annual cycle that they focus on now.

Stockholders too would have a vested interest in making sure there was somehow some good corporate citizenship.

I don't know all the answers. But yeah..if worse comes to worse.. I say doughboy will not make it past 93.
