Bush's Purge of the CIA - Recruiting Goldmine for the Democratic Party?
We all heard about how Bush has purged the CIA of all of those who are not 100% loyal to "Our Leader" and the neo-con agenda. So that means there are a bunch of very skilled, high-level intelligence professionals - field operatives, analysts, covert operations planners and agents - out there looking for work right now.

Why not hire them to work for the Democratic Party? It couldn't hurt our prospects to have highly skilled operatives gathering information about the Republican Party, conducting Psychological Operations to influence the opinions of the masses, infiltrating and setting the agenda for the media...in short, doing all those things they are trained to do.

And they all have that special motivation that only comes to disgruntled ex-employees who have been screwed over by their idiot bosses. Now I'm not suggesting that they do anything illegal or immoral, just that they might be able to use their specialized skills to enhance the electoral prospects of the Democratic Party.

After all they were terminated, either explicitly or by constructive discharge, for not being Republican loyalists. They have special skills. They need work. Why not hire the displaced ex-employees of 'The Company' to work for the Democratic Party?

1. That's not a bad idea.
Send it to Dean. Good skilled motivated workers are hard to find.

5. And the Democratic Party Could Really Benefit from These Skill Sets
right now.

Having experience intelligence professionals and field operatives within the Democratic Party might put us on a nearly equal footing with the Republican Party, who has been using the taxpayer funded resources of the The National Security State to further their electoral success over the past several years...

All the people purged from the CIA, are truly great Americans, and
should have the opportunity to use their skills.

4. Oh I think there are many, many people within the civil service who
have just had their particular job descriptions changed out from under them to include torture, promoting torture, as part of the job. I mean we know it has always gone on.. the transfer of a prisoner from one place to the next.. but the majority of civil servants could keep their hands clean to much of it. And now all those policies are being normalized.

I would be so angry if someone changed the nature of my career. I mean out in the field is one thing. Centralized is wholly different.

And isn't the USA just at a point where they need all the operatives and experience they have. I mean firing air traffic controllers is one thing.. you can always find folk with really good concentration skills. That is one set of skills. But the specialists in security and need a whole set of abilities.
