Poll question: Should we pound it in their neocon heads that the pope was anti-war?
Should we repeat it day after day to the neocons and other right wing fundamentalist that the pope was a peace loving person who didn't advocate the Iraq war?

2. Sure
Just don't act surprised when they respond back that he was staunchly anti-abortion. This Pope defied conventional American political labels.

7. Doesn't matter.
The fact is that media attention on his death is an opportunity to advance our political agenda!

5. Anti-Iraq war, anti-death penalty and defender of the poor.
The Pope may have been conservative on some issues but he was the anti-Neo-Con.

6. Had I been the Pope
I would have condemned bitterly to the world that the neo-con movement was evil personified with lustful desires for resources and willing to kill using lies. And if the Pope was caught with his pants down before the war, there should have been an outright powerful rejection of what happened.

After all, if the Pope won't use his lofty position of morality to blast this message across the planet, who does or should?

Pope = Enabler

8. just wars...
Yet JPII retained/reserved the right to affirm a "just war," which patently flies in the face ofthe clear Commands and Sermon Directives of Jesus of Nazareth...
