March 31 is the day for petitioning Charles Schwab to drop its support for Social Security privatization.

Now I just went to the Charles Schwab website www.charlesschwab.com and tried to find the nearest Charles Schwab office. I got the message "Our branch locator tool is temporarily unavailable."

Coincidence?

1. Our time would be better spent elsewhere.
They are investors, and having the government give them billions of dollars would be a good thing for them. Not supporting it would be against their self-interest. I don't think we'll be very sucessful trying to convince them to act against their own good. Besides, they don't vote. Companies never have. They can't vote for or against anyone that can vote with or against us in congress.
