After hearing of Terri Schiavo's death, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Thursday that the Schiavo case was the toughest challenge he has faced since taking office and wished he could have done more.

"It's heartbreaking to be honest with you," Bush said. "My thoughts and prayers go out her family and to all of the people who wanted her to live and to everybody, this was a very, very emotional couple of weeks."

I'm sure most people in FL that lost their house and loved ones in last year's hurricanes would appreciate hearing that their governor considers the Schiavo debacle to be more difficult than major devastation throughout the state.
