Poll question: What is an activist judge?
Let's see. A judge who issues a ruling is an activist judge and one who refuses to take on an issue is an activist judge now.

5. Exactly -- a judge who doesn't give the righties their way
"It's supposed to be government by the PEOPLE!" "We're being overrun by the judiciary!" "The judges are out of control, WE aren't in control!" I'm paraphrasing Randall Terry et al from this morning. "WE aren't able to impose our will on others because of this damn 'Nation of Laws' thang."

2. An activist judge? You mean like the five Supremes who handed
Chimpy the election in Bush v. Gore? That's what I say whenever I hear someone pissing and moaning about "activist judges." God, these people have no shame.

They sure didn't mind those judges in 2000. Ask Al Gore about activist judges.

6. As defined by a conservative an activist judge is one who does his/her job
and rules on the constitutionality of an issue.
