Schindlers denied visitation overnight
HA....maybe Mich ael knows something we don't...remember how we were disgussing the water situation?............coul dthey have been sneaking something in? Just my tin foil working overtime........note time they wanted to see her.....

PINELLAS PARK --.............Thursday morning as Bobby Schindler was refused visitation to Terri Schiavo for most of the night.

At 5:55 a.m. Thursday, Bobby Schindler approached several police officers standing outside his sister's hospice and asked why he was being denied access to see Terri Schiavo.

..............he had made three or four phone requests to see Schiavo throughout the night only to be denied.

"We've been blocked since 1 (a.m.) last night," Schindler said.

Bobby Schindler said they were told to leave just before midnight Wednesday night because Michael Schiavo wanted to see her.

Just after 7 a.m., Bobby Schindler and his sister, who had just arrived, walked up to the police and asked yet again to see Schiavo. Again, they were denied.

"Can you ask him to leave for like half an hour?" Schindler asked. "Ask him that. Give us a half hour."

The officer, Pinellas Park Police Sgt. A. Russo, nodded and said he'd ask. At about 7:35 a.m., two officers came over and got Schindler, Vitadamo and Pavone and led them into the hospice.

11. I can't imagine that they would allow the parents to visit unsupervised.
Wouldn't a guard or police officer be present in the room with those parents?

I think Michael and his attorneys are aware that they would probably try to give her water (or worse).

Does anyone know if the Schinder's visits are unsupervised?

I heard yesterday, that Mary Schindler didn't want to see her daughter, because she said it was too painful for her. Is that not true? Maybe they changed their minds.

2. CNN just reported that the family is still being denied access to Terri
A family spokeman just said "they are requesting a meeting w/ Micheal to discuss allowing them in to see Terri, Terri probably only has hours to live and they wish to be at her side" Michael is sitting next to her.

3. It must be getting toward the end
Michael Schiavo probably wants to be with her when she dies ... if she starts to go when they're in there it will by a hysterical scene instead of a peaceful passing.

Still, she is their daughter ... I hope Michael Schiavo is as gracious about letting them visit as possible.

7. Gee, I thought these "good Christians" hold marriage as the most sacred
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 09:18 AM by ElectroPrincess
Terri's NOT a "little girl" and these parents are the epitome of self-absorbed control freaks. Whatever MS does to keep their nasty conniving claws away from spreading more havoc, all the power to him.

I have absolutely NO sympathy for "the Schindlers" ... THEY are the reason (along with the whorish Corporate Media) that this "personal family" tragedy is being focused on. I will have to dig down real deep because I know I'm wrong to dislike them, but I understand why I feel such resentment.

12. I'm not sure if you have kids
but let me assure you that your child is always your child, even when your "baby" is 50 years old.

I don't think this circus they've created is right. It's ridiculous and they have certainly gone off of the deep end. However, the end is close and their child, the one that they loved since before her birth, is dying. They are, in my opinion, entitled to say goodbye.

13. I have children
and I would hope that I would never put my feelings and desires above hers and his.

Sure, they are always your baby, but when they are married adults, their wishes must be respected.

15. Yes I do, but I don't OWN my child ...
These parents are despicable control freaks. That may partially explain why she suffered with the eating disorder of Bulimia which resulted this condition.

No, neither my husband's parents or mine butt in on anything about our marriage going on 23 years now. These parents are pathologic ... I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

4. I wouldn't hold it past the Schindlers' to eek out a little more sympathy
but IF they are sneaking her "a little hydration" that's beyond cruel!

But gee, it's now ALL about them. Isn't it?

6. I Am Not Sure What Is Going On
Hopefully it's just an honest need to be near her during her last hours? who knows though. I know Michael has expressed that Terri didn't want to live hooked up to everything and sustained like she has been. I do hope she can die peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. Including her family. :)

8. It seems to me
that if the Shindlers are trying to sneak water to Terri, all Michael would have to do would be to request that a guard be stationed in her room whenever they visited.

I suspect something else, not sure what though.

9. The court order said that the Schindlers could not be in the room
when Michael was visiting. Michael's been at the hospice since the feeding tube was removed, but he would leave Terri's room in order for her family to visit her.

I need to hear the other side of this before I believe the Schindlers about anything. Everything out of their mouths are lies.
