4. the Right uses the term 'socialism' as an inflammatory word--but they
do not think past that term or how they are using it. silly but effective as it scares the p**p out of many people.

6. Then we have to use "fascist" like that one caller did.
And he was a Republican voter considering changing his party as a result.
Fascism scares more of the poop outta me than socialism.

12. Yes but the derogatory labels do not have the "magic" that they did
while we had an strong economy. As more and more people face bankruptcy and destitution, the republicans rabid ranting will sound like people "talking in tongues." It will either not register at all or fall on deaf ears because the average American will FOCUS on their ability to earn a paycheck. Under Bush Co. and all the outsourcing, making a decent living to support one's family is becoming increasingly difficult.

Patience my dear fellow progressives. Tyrants don't always win. Justice will prevail though our efforts to shed light on the truth, but mostly, with the passage of time requiring the "sheeple" to wake up from their 9/11 coma.

5. What I found funny was all those GOPhers saying the Dems
were angered because the GOP represents smaller government.
:wtf:

A record deficit, a bill passed to interfere in ONE family's life, fascist support of corporations? That's smaller goverment? Geesch.

7. Is there a public strategy?
Sure. DeLay is a public figure, as much as a racketeer who is a congressional leader is ever a public figure.

In a perfect world, DeLay & Co. would be up on RICO charges. Perhaps, someday. I can dream, can't I? ;-)

13. What I want to know is: Do Republicans demonize
Liberals, Hollywood, Michael Moore, Gays, John Kerry, Al Gore, MSM, feminists, unions, trial lawyers, etc?

C-span's question is like a push poll.

16. They got the line from DeLay
"My constituents are very supportive," he said in an interview. "They know what's going on with the liberal media and with the leftist organizations and with the Democrat party".....

DeLay said his critics won't sway voters. His constituents "know this is a concerted effort to demonize me. And they know me well enough to know that all this stuff they're reading is not true."

www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/news/nation/11270852.htm

This longish article is about his trip home to gather support. He got some (he's a Godly man!) but not all Republicans are happy. Add the facts that he beat an "unknown, underfunded" Democrat by a smaller margin than ever & more Democrats are moving into his district.

And when are Democratic members of Congress going to call their colleagues (and Bush) on this disrespect?

21. Hey C-Span!
Can you just one of your screeners sort of figure out that a guy from California (sometimes L.A., sometimes some other Calif. region) who has a voice that is very similiar to Donald Trump's, calls in EVERY day? He calls in as a Dem, a Repuke, an independent -- always trashing Dems, of course.
I've seen the moderators pull the plug on many callers that they say violate the rules, but I've never seen them get hip to this guy.
Typical Repuke, too -- cheater, liar and fraud.
He called in again today on Tom Delay.
If I can figure out that it's the same guy, why can't you?
