The one I catch the most is this one put out by Progress for America.

This ad is clearly false. National Democrats have offered solutions to SS. Why havent we denounced this ad?

With that said, where are all the Democratic 527 ad's?

1. You're not the only one...
Someone sure is spending a lot of money on this for sure. I have been considering calling my congressman against supporting. Actually the organization that is going to counter this for now is AARP.

3. Yeah all I've seen is the AARP one about the kitchen sink.
I REALLY like the signs that some protesters had that looked like SS cards and they said "Don't get BUSHWHACKED Stop Privatization of SS"

WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE
WALL STREET WELFARE

That's the talking point!

4. National Democrats have offered solutions
And what would some of those Democrat solutions be?

Raising the cap, eliminating the cap, changing the system so it is more progressive, means testing, etc... Whether you agree w/ them or not, they are solutions that would extend the life and solvency of SS.

5. It's funny
But I've heard two on TV. I wasn't watching..but the AARP one I don't remember but the Bush one... well it made me laugh because the words they used..the "Democrats have no plan but to oppose Bush".

I'm sorry but opposing the person that is turning this country into a third world basket case sounds like a plan to me! And looking at his approval ratings, and his trust on this issue, opposing DUMBASS that's trying to ruin this country sounded pretty good to me. And maybe I'm out of the loop-but honestly except for his koolaid followers-anybody can see that opposing Bush is the best thing there is.

So let them hang themsleves. Bush has nowhere to go but OUT. Lame duck's clock is ticking.

6. It won't matter in the least. Let these Swifties throw their money
away all they want. One viewing of the AARP ad trumps all the SwiftboatSpawn garbage.

Too bad Kerry didn't do something like that last year.
