Nothing would destroy the conservative movement faster than...
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 10:01 PM by Cell Whitman
The American Freedom Coalition played a crucial role in Moon's financing and guiding the "new right" conservative movement's rise to power. Moon gathered them together for a purpose, his purpose. AFC members, like Brent Bozell and Robert Grant, have always tried to claim that the AFC wasn't a Moon tool. Sadly that worked, for the new right is made up of rationalizing soul selling chumps. They can't see. The AFC was designed, like other Moon fronts and cash, to bring the "Christian right" to power, THAT WAS PART OF THE PLAN!! You can't have a world theocracy unless the theocrats are in charge. It's pretty simple actually. No, we will never have Mullahs like Iran, we have an "americanized" theocracy in diapers and there is reason for that. It wasn't an accident.

This may not mean much to those who are not familiar but this is quite a catch. Very rare book John Gorenfeld has uncovered here which further exposes the bs that the AFC wasn't a Moon tool.

from JG's

http://iapprovethismessiah.com/2005/03/not-for-sale-part-i-present-at.html

The Rev. Sun Myung Moon's recent speech on ending democracy in America is a good segue for examining David G. Racer's explosive 1989 tract Not For Sale: The Rev. Sun Myung Moon And One American's Freedom, popular in conservative circles at the time and endorsed by ex-Washington Times editor James Whelan.

Nothing would destroy the conservative movement faster than to be linked inextricably to the Rev. Moon. I believe that Moon has plans for these conservatives, plans that would not please them...

Many conservatives would rather not have this information made public, fearing that it will "damage the movement." I suggest that no one needs to fear the truth. If the conservative movement is based on fraud and deception, which it would be if this truth is stifled, then it deserves to be damaged....

....the documentation I received after my resignation provided to me that the Rev. Sun Myung Moon has a plan for America, and that his plan includes the American Freedom Coalition.

....Since this was a Moon-supported conference, and because Godism was a Moon term, it seemed logical to me that Godism meant a system in which Moon ultimately would play a pivotal, if not leading, role.

As the next several months progressed, I found myself being pulled into a mechanism which I came to believe would serve Moon's ultimate purpose: the establishment of his political power in America and the world.

more at JG's.

++++++++++++++++++++

Anyone with half a brain and any knowledge of how Moon operates, knows that EVERYTHING Moon finances and is involved with is designed to move his theocratic ball down the field, EVERYTHING.

Read how the conservatives tried to hide working to help Moon here:
From Frontline:
http://www.mediachannel.org/originals/moontranscript.shtml

Narrator: Media analyst Brent Bozell is a member of the AFC national policy board.

Bozell: "If it were to come out that what the AFC is doing is being done at the direction of Reverend Moon, it would lose its fifty chapters overnight. That allegation has been out there since the day that AFC was formed and it hasn't stuck because nobody has come up with the smoking gun that he's done it."...

AFC President Robert Grant, writing to Reverend Moon, thanks him for investing heavily and “helping to bring the AFC into being.” Grant concludes by telling Moon, “Without your leadership, vision and the support of your devoted followers, the AFC would not exist.”

Here Robert Grant, one of Moon's musketeers, says what the AFC was designed for:

http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2001/132/36.0.html
He (Robert Grant) emphasized that AFC is a political coalition formed because of the “inability of the ‘Christian Right’ to achieve its agenda” due to its “fragmentation and its failure to build coalitions with its philosophical allies from other communities for effective civic participation.”

Do you know what "natural subjugation" means? You should, our nation is being naturally subjugated right and theocratic. Read an outline of what happened here:

4. NBC did a great report in 1991 and even noted that Moon controlled 1/3
of this nation's fishing industry at the time. Sice then Moon has upped that to about half the industry under his control.

The news outlets have backed away from covering Moon. Moon has acquired most of the studio space around DC and rents them out to the media at bargain rates. They'll even provide bargain video crews for them.

Moon has bought his protection with the news groups and he has an over 4 decade alliance with the Bush family for even more protection. They scratch each other's backs.

did I tell you I got a copy of that NBC Nightly News report in vcr format? If you'll remember, it used to be up on the net a couple years ago whe he were mooning the MWO board. Anyway, I played it a few times and yes that is was it said, Moon owned 1/3 of the US Fishing industry. The report was from August 1990 by Jamie Gandel.

9. I always remembered that part and am shocked that so few know about
that aspect of Moon's control.

The ReCreator wants to ReCreate the whole loaves and fishes scenario. The manipulative jerk probably started the whole MadCow disease ball rolling.

Amazing that even the Freepers would think it's OK that RevMoon controls almost half this nations' fishing industry. I think Americans would be SHOCKED, appalled and PISSED if they knew.

10. BlueIris, I'm not sure what you are saying.
Are you skeptical of the story or just skeptical of ever getting it on TV?

You are correct that TV is what the story needs. However, as blm has pointed out, some are likely scared of him and his media. One of his "priests" admitted that Moon is left alone because the Washington Times will make attackers suffer "enormously."

Of course part of the problem is TV has been so negligent in covering Moon, very few people have any knowledge that he is even still alive, let alone that he has more to with our nation's political situation than ANYONE.

If you are skeptical of the story, you shouldn't be, it is all very well documented and Moon actually brags about what he is doing. He just slides what he plans into these long speeches most don't have the patience to read. Then some folks blow him off, laughing that he is nut, so who cares? "He can't affect me!!" hah Moon IS getting the last laugh.

Read the second post at my blog.
http://cellwhitman.blogspot.com/2004/10/appendix-notes-for-above-post.html

There are over fifty notes which document the statements in the first post. I think you will see they are all very legitimate sources from Moon's own words, Time, U.S. News, a congressional investigation, FRONTLINE, Robert Parry, Americans United, Salon, The Washington Post, Christianity Today and others.

Here's a video I saved a long time ago, but find some have never seen it. It is a large file, 46mb and if you are on dial up may take forever. But if you can download this video and show it to your friends, I don't think they will be laughing anymore.

12. I don't blame here for being skeptical. This country has no real newsmedia
anymore and it really is disheartening to all those expecting real news that matters to this nation and its democracy.

5. Bozell and Grant are shameless liars
-- if they've tried to claim AFC is not a Moon tool, body and soul.

I absolutely know it was Moon-y through and through because an acquaintance worked there -- and when they found out just what it was they quit -- to this day, whenever speaking of that organization, they lower their voice to a hushed whisper and glance over their shoulder -- I always think that's a bit too much drama, but given it's a Moon organization, who knows?

11. Yes, it was in the Dirkson Office Building March 23, 2004
But they have had others, including a dry run which Moon did not attend in the Reagan Building in Feb. 2004. Moon's third son, by the current marriage, Hyun Jin did the honors of accepting the crown on Moon's behalf. I think they had a dry run because he wanted to make sure he could pull off the March 23 con job.

Scroll down here for links to the story and video of the "coronation."

14. copy
CBS/AP) More than a dozen U.S. lawmakers turned out for a Capitol Hill reception honoring the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the controversial leader of the Unification Church.

Some of the lawmakers later said they were duped when questioned about their presence at the event held at the Dirksen Senate Office Building on March 23.

The Washington Post reported that Moon received a crown that was placed on his head. The crown was carried on a pillow by Rep. Danny K. Davis, D-Ill., who wore white gloves, the newspaper said.

The Post said Moon, 85, delivered a lengthy speech at the "Crown of Peace" ceremony. The newspaper quoted Moon as saying he was "sent to Earth . . . to save the world's six billion people. . . . Emperors, kings and presidents . . . have declared to all Heaven and Earth that Reverend Sun Myung Moon is none other than humanity's Savior, Messiah, Returning Lord and True Parent."

Congressman Davis told the Post that he was a Methodist who disagreed with many of Moon's religious teachings. But the Illinois lawmaker praised Moon's efforts on behalf of world peace.

About 100 people were honored for their work on behalf of peace at the local and national level. The Rev. Moon and his wife received "international crown of peace" awards.

The bipartisan turnout included both of Minnesota's U.S. senators, Democrat Mark Drayton and Republican Norm Coleman.

A Drayton spokeswoman said the senator ducked in for a few minutes, got his photo taken during an awards ceremony, and then left. There was no indication Moon would be there, the senator's staff said.

"We went to greet constituents," Coleman said. "We weren't present for any strange activities that took place."

But the Post quoted George A. Stallings, an organizer of the event, as saying an invitation faxed to lawmakers stated that Moon and his wife would be honored at the reception.

Use of the Senate office building for the event would have to be approved by a senator. The identity of that senator is "shrouded in mystery," Stallings told the Post.

The Washington Times Foundation was listed as one of the sponsors of the gathering, and some GOP lawmakers told the Post they attended the reception to honor the conservative newspaper, which is owned by Moon.

One of them, Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Maryland, said he had no idea Moon would receive an award and deliver a speech.

Moon's controversial career includes a 1982 conviction for tax fraud and conspiracy to obstruct of justice. According to the Post, the religious leader told the gathering that even "... dictators such as Hitler and Stalin, have found strength in my teachings, mended their ways and been reborn as new persons."
