What is it like to be represented by a Democrat?
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 08:38 PM by usregimechange
I don't know. My state rep Ron Richard is a Republican. My State Senator Gary Nodler is a Republican. My Governor Matt "taking health insurance from the disabled" Blunt is a Republican. His daddy Roy "Phillip Morris" Blunt is a Republican and my US Rep. Kit Bong and Jim Talent are my US senators, Republicans. So, what is it like? I forget.

1. It means never having to say you're sorry
At least a lot less often, in any case.

5. You're right -- it's bullshit
But the quote seemed to fit so well with the question!

Too bad it's not true.

(though I have to say, I rarely have to apologize for Russ and Tammy. Herb, sometimes. This district is the exception, not rule, though...)

2. It depends on who the Dem is.
I have the smae problem you do. But I used to live in PA. We had some Dems that wer very good, and some that weren't.

My last Senator was a Dem...Zell Miller! Does that answer your question???

11. I had just read the post about some dems being worse than others
and since I live in reddest Texas I was thinking, "Man, I'll take any Dem!"
Then you reminded me Zell "When I Lose My Mind I Don't Screw Around!" Miller. You have a point. I shall be more careful what I wish for! :eyes:

8. It can be wonderful - Paul Wellstone was my Senator.
I was so proud of every stand he took, every statement he made, and every thing that he did. And I miss him so much.

12. Wonderful here in Washington State
My Congressman is Jim McDermott, my Senators are Cantwell and Murray and we have a great Governor Christine Gregoire, who as State Attorney General, took on Big Tobacco and WON!!!
