CNN! Up front in your face Partisan agenda.
I just saw a revolting commercial directly attacking Democrats?

Any good letter-writer care to write a form letter for mass mailings...

This kinda shit needs to stop.

The commercial started out asking a question...

Have the Democrats offered anything at all to solve the SS crisis?

Contact your representitives and let them know you you support SS reform.

1. CNN is a propaganda outfit
but running ads is ok. They also run ads from AARP and Moveon, which the networks refuse to do.

2. I saw them put on an excellent Move On ad. Cheney stamping
a list of awful judicial nominations... and then Cheney with a crown and a smirk at the end. Was great!! You sure they were not accepting MoveOn ads?

4. I saw the great MoveOn ad too
I meant the broadcast networks are the ones refusing to run this kind of ad.

11. I saw the one where Democrats came up with no ideas??? What?
there are ideas out there... just not on paper. By the way Bush is the one who proposed the plan... and he has not put that on paper either?

And the point that Democrats were 'playing politics'? I i think that will sink them.

6. Yes, but in what context?
Like, the Repuke ads they preface with "This news just in from the esteemed research group . . .", or just plain playing the ads, and the Dem-friendly ads prefaced with "How low will the Democrats go with their attack ads? Let's look at the latest ad which compares Adolf Hitler to . . ."

8. I've never seen anything remotely like that
all I've seen is them playing the ads with all their other ads, political or otherwise, without any commentary.

They show their propaganda side in their news coverage.

5. CNN = Co#%sucking News Network.
They are more dangerous than Fox because people know Fox is biased and think CNN is fair. I would like to slap the shit out of Judy, Wolf and Novak.

I wonder what cutsey nicknames Preznit Dipshit bestowed on these stooges.

10. I don't believe that this is OK for them to do, but...
"Have the Democrats offered anything at all to solve the SS crisis?"

If so, I haven't seen it, and neither has Amerika...

How does this directly attack Democrats, except to show them as too DAMN PASSIVE in the face of GOP zealotry?

12.  The Republicans love that word "crisis"
The thought of their pals on Wall Street getting access to that coveted Social Security money has them all "hot and bothered"! ... damn, our Democratic Representatives better *stay strong* on this issue. The Neo-Cons have raided almost all the other coffers, we can't afford to give them our Social Security Funds too.

15. IMHO they not only love the word "crisis", they actually create
crisis...to draw attention away fromn their dirty deeds. Look at all of the ridiculous media coverage on the Schiavo case...all funded by right wing groups.

13. So when is * actually going to put forth a plan?
Instead of trying to sucker Democrats into presenting a plan that Bush will promptly claim credit and victory as his own... such bullshit and yet another reason for us not to give a inch!
