2. The GOP controls the House 84-36 and the Senate 26-14
I'm going to go out on an limb and predict that he won't be impeached.

4. Wow!
I didn't realize they were that Repug down there. Was it a redistricting thing?

This is why we need to elect Dems at all levels and not just worry about the Presidential races like we seem to do.

9. Yes, it was redistricting
It is a GOP state (they control all of the state-wide elected offices execpt on the U. S. Senate seats). But not that GOP.

And the GOP has increased their edge in the House by 2 or three seats in November.

6. Amazing how that can happen in a state that is almost exactly
50/50 in its electorate.

8. Republican have a slight edge, but
They really carved things up with redistricting. Elbridge Gerry would be proud.

3. Yes, that is true about both the 2000 and 2004 elections....
...now he's just following character with the Terri Schiavo case. Notice how Jeb is running for high ground by going back to Judge Greer's court to get a ruling on the legality of his taking custody of Terri Schiavo. Once Jeb takes that action, he will own the girl and will be responsible for her life. I'm not sure Jeb has the personal character to take on that sort of responsibility.

7. The words 'character' and 'Bush' don't belong in the same
sentence, unless it's "That George Bush, now there's a real character."
