1. It's two different things entirely
rw embraces law and order without regard to personal privacy.

3. The only "intrusion" that concerns the rw is
taxes and regulation. You ought not to feel conflicted in the least.

7. I'd like to embrace law and order too
But I'm much more concerned with the guys at Exxon, Enron, Worldcom, HealthSouth, etc., than with pornographers and pot smokers.

4. We are liberals. We like regulations to keep corporations from killing
us. We like 'good' information like "food pyramids" as they get updated disseminated towards us. With the internet I am sure the cost of regulations and information spread will go down quite a bit.

It is a Repuke thing to say you are against big government. Bush and Rove are trying to destroy our government. They want corporations to be bigger and have more power than the USA government. Wouldn't that be pretty? If the USA is no longer the leader of the world?

Liberals have always been for government with interventions to help out the average man. Before that (200 years ago) corporations and elites used to get government to interfere in in the things they liked (like property laws, etc.)

Having a big enough government to control elites and to ensure democracy stays strong.. is the position of Democrats, Liberals and Progressives. The Patriot Act will have to go when the threat of terrorism is reduced. A few laws from that will remain I am sure. But really - don't be so messed up by the dances Karl Rove does that you all of a sudden are pushed into a corner and become a conservative without knowing.

So far neocons have stolen the idea of 'promoting democracy abroad' from Liberals. Well that issue is still ours. We are for the spread of democracy. Wanting a tiny government is what Bush and Karl Rove and the elites want. And they want to push you into that corner too so you forget who you are. No you do not like the patriot act. Yes you like it that the courts are the deciders of the last resort. Terry Schiavo does not affect you in the least. Terry Schiavo is just a little political dance to confuse you. The vultures are circleliing and trying to confuse you. The only thing the Terry Schiavo law affects is what is on your TV. She likely will not know the difference either way (because she is on painkillers).

Don't fall for the trick.

5. Checks and balances.
The Schiavo case does affect us. The legislature has tried to override the judicial branch. That is of great concern to all of us.

8. You don't want smaller government though do you. Just less
tribal activity and anxious attacks and dances going on. Less Patriot Act..
