1. 400 or more electoral votes?
Wow, in my country a president only needs 270.

2. Yeah, but you max out at 538.
I'm talking about landslides, not squeakers.

5. Plenty of Presidents have topped 400 in the modern era:
Bush 41: 426 (1988)
Reagan: 489 (1980), 525 (1984)
Nixon: 520 (1972)
Johnson: 486 (1964)
Eisenhower: 442 (1952), 457 (1956)
FDR: 472 (1932), 523 (1936), 449 (1940), 432 (1944)

The list is actually pretty long...

4. generally 55% or more of the vote has been labeled a landslide
of course the corporate media thought that Bush's 550,000 vote loss to Gore in 2000 was a mandate for BUSH.

6. And his 2.46% win over Kerry last year,
the smallest margin of victory for any incumbent, was called a mandate.

That liberal media is tricky.

7. I try to use it sparingly...
When I say "landslide," I'm talking spectacular, humiliating blowout. Think Reagan vs. Mondale, Obama vs. Keyes.
