Chimp's warbloggers' concerted strangling of all dissenting voices
Repugs wake up to power of blogs that contradict neocon version of events.

An Australian blogger writes that there appears to be "a strong, concerted attempt by Bush's warblogging online crowd to stifle genuine news from sources like the New York Times, Juan Cole, the Washington Post and now Google News."

Jarvis (Buzz Machine blog) said,

Google: Release a complete list of your news sources now. And institute a means for questioning those choices and for suggesting other choices now.

Google: It's bad enough that you won't share information about ad revenue sharing. But not to share information about your means of selecting news sources is inexecusable... in this case, evil.

Jeff Jarvis then banned the Bush Out blogger from commenting on his anti-Google News post and deleted his comments. See

Save Google News from death by neocons.

3. No, but...
One is not the other. Jeff Jarvis is just a guy with a blog and a name like a professional wrestler. At the end of the day, he is not one of the great thinkers of our epoch.

That is borne out by his obsession with LGF, as noxious a cesspool as ever existed.

4. Dear Ben,
Wish I knew what it is you're trying to say there, but I found this post utterly incomprehensible. Jeff says "Google" at the beginning of all his sentences? Who is Jeff? Is he the "Australian blogger"? Who's the Bush Out blogger? What the hell?
Maybe i'm just not up on what it is you're referring to...
