Republicans who want to live in a persistent vegetative state?
I have no problem with that. In fact, I think it's a good idea. Hannity, DeLay, Frist, Rush...more power to them! I will defend to the death their right to have tubes pumping mush into their insensate bodies in perpetuity. Serves them right.

I see a campaign here: the "I wanna be a vegetable!" campaign, with a smiley tomato with a "thousand-yard stare" as the icon, drooling happily onto its chin. I see t-shirts, buttons, bumper-stickers and coffee mugs. I see Dubya as the Poster Child. They can collectively-as a political party-abnegate their right to die. Sounds good to me!

Republicans think people should linger on in abject pain that even morphine won't touch? Man up, motherfuckers! Strap yourselves onto the gurney! I think you've got a great idea! For YOURSELVES. Torture yourselves all you want. And leave the rest of us alone. We've suffered enough of your bullshit already.

1. I think they took this campaign up largely because their constituency
is braindead.

8. heh
he tried to push that the school lunch progam could count ketchup as a vegetable... eg don't have to serve a real vegetable - just throw on a packet of ketchup! The point was so ridiculed that it was backtracked upon... I was just trying to be a bit clever per vegetable and ketchup and Reagan all being in the same sentence.
