Poll question: Would Americans have believed that Saddam was coming to get them...

...had there been a draft in place? If that belief had demanded not only posturing with bumperstickers and Walmart flags, but also putting themselves or their children at risk of being sent off? Would that risk have outwieghed the risk of Saddam delivering a nuke to Toledo in their minds?

Would reasons for war have to carry more weight if there were a draft?

3. They Took Us To War in Vietnam On A Lot Less
If there were a draft, we still would have invaded Afghanistan and Iraq,
and would also have attacked Iran and Syria by now.

The only thing stopping him is a shortage of cannon fodder.
