1. It'll take a little while to make sure all are registered
My guess is by the end of the yr. Political suicide perhaps, but it will give Mr.bush and his minions time to do a good (bad) reason for it.

2. Another option: Not the way we knew it.
I doubt we will see a draft of the kind we all knew. My guess is they will reinstate those who think they've gotten out because they are experienced in jobs that are needed. Current enlistments will be extended far beyond what the individual serviceman ever imagined, and of course lots of young people will be enticed with great signing bonuses and fake promises of wealth and ohhh the sexy attraction of a guy in uniform!

I doubt you'll ever see a traditional draft!

4. Yes
I think it will be different and a secret way. Somehow they'll do it without people knowing. They already control the media and the freepers all watch faux and if Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh tell them there's no draft there won't be one in their minds. Until it's too late. That's what I think. Or they'll have another attack to make people join the military again like in 2001. :scared:

7. There will be no draft.
The Republicans are waaaaaay too smart to hand us an issue like that. We, in fact, are the only ones talking about it. Don't worry, you won't have to go to Canada.

13. Never
For the same reasons I've been citing for a year and a half now (ever since this ridiculous idea hit DU):

1) The White House doesn't want it.
2) Congress doesn't want it.
2) Then Pentagon doesn't want it.

It will never happen. Never.

But right after that, look out.
