1. Heh. The more Shrub runs his mouth about them, the LESS popular
they become. LMAO! I love it!

6. No, I think Babs put it over the top, her and her poor 17
grandchildren that are worried about their social security.

3. Well, the 9 year old hasn't helped, and MomBabs hasn't helped.
I am beginning to believe the theory that they knew this was a lost cause all along and have been pushing it just to divert our attention.
In the meantime they have passed the horrible bankruptcy bill, a horrendous budget bill, and who knows what else has been slipped under our noses while we were concentrating on trying to save Social Security?

9. It doesn't hold water

They'd grab onto the third rail with both hands and hold tight just to distract us from a bankruptcy bill and a budget bill that's still under consideration?

They're not stupid. They wouldn't risk losing the house just to sneak a few things past the Democrats. With the bankruptcy bill, it's quite simple: quite a few Democrats supported it... It wasn't sneaked past us so much as we caved, as usual. As far as I understand, the budget is still under consideration. Am I wrong about that?

No, I think it's something more. Suskind's article pointed out that this was on Bush's agenda, but his campaign vigorously denied Kerry's charges, saying he was spreading unfounded rumors. So, of course, as soon as Bush wins, he does EXACTLY what Kerry said he'd do. Surprise!

It's arrogance on Bush's part. He thinks he can get away with lying and shoving a terrible plan down our throats because he's gotten away with it so many times before. This isn't a distraction. It's their goal. And we're winning. Keep your eyes on the prize.

10. Since taking Mommy with him on his SS privateering tour did not help
maybe Bush will start taking Terry Schiavo with him.
