Their are strange things done in the midnight sun
by the men who would kill the world for oil.

The arctic trails have secret tales
that could make your blood run cold.

The northern lights have seen queer sights .....
but the queerest they ever did see;
Was for money .....
"those thugs" would kill the earth, the sky, and the sea.

We said that this place, a gem, was one of the last .....
but the greedy bastards said, "But Alaska is vast."

So on the North slope
nature will choke.

And on the bush death train we all ride.
Those bastards!
Do they not know, we have no place to hide?
