Now does Dean look likes he is "doing harm" at today's NJ fundraiser?
Al From tells him:
"Dean will do fine as long as he remembers the Hippocratic Oath: First, do no harm."

Don't worry, Al, he will be ok.

He better be
Al From is nothing but a GOP infiltrator of our party. The DLC was good for its purpose, to get a Dem back in the WH after the Reagan Revolution(face there was one, thats why we are in the situation we are in now!). But as Al Gore said, "it is time for them to go!"

7. Some excerpts from the fundraiser.
http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/news/11135723.htm
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - "Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean praised New Jersey Democrats Monday night for the way they have bounced back from the political crisis the party faced with last year's resignation of Gov. James E. McGreevey.

Much of Dean's 14-minute speech to party members attending a $1,000-a-ticket fund-raiser at the Trenton Marriott Hotel was directed at the Bush administration, which he blamed for forcing states to raise taxes to cover federal mandates that have gone unfunded, such as the No Child Left Behind Act.

Afterward, Dean praised acting Gov. Richard J. Codey, saying he has "done a terrific job cleaning up the Democrats' image" and that he and other Democrats have "done what needs to be done for another Democratic administration to come in."

New Jersey voters will elect a new governor and fill all 80 Assembly seats in November.

Dean, the former governor of Vermont, was named chairman of the DNC a month ago."

23. It *could* be a sign language interpeter.
Dean was among the first to actually use the interpreters to his benefit when he announced his candidacy for President back in June of '03. I'm deaf, and I'm a strong Dean supporter.

11. Do no harm to Al From is what he really means.
He sounds scared to death of Dean because Dean doesn't goose step behind the members of the DLC.

You GO Dean, and don't pay any attention to these whiners who are so jealous they can't stand it.

Be afraid, Al From, be verrrrry afraid. :scared:

21. And it was discussed on CNN today by Bruce Reed.
He implied Dean will do fine as long he remembers...to do no harm that is. That phrase burns me up.

25. It's clear the DLCers don't know how to...
...get along with other Democrats...especially if they threaten to weaken their stranglehold on the party.

Who are these guys to 'warn' Dean about anything?

Dean has shown that the party can make progress with the rank and file without kissing corporate butt and kneeling to Bush. That's the message the New Dems didn't want to hear.
