Invertebrate of the Weak
This week's winner is a group of people who define the term 'spineless', which, of course, Blogtopus loves. Filthy Vertebrae! Better to be squishy and formless, like so much poo in the backyard of America.

Blogtopus is honored to have such a wonderfully deserving winner on its inaugural week. Keep up the good work, Senators!

2. I know people are pissed at hillary
for a number of reasons, but she doesn't really deserve to be on the list. She didn't vote for the bill. She was with Bill who was having heart surgery. There was no way she could be there for the vote, and no one knows how she would've voted.

3. She is on the list marked in red because she didn't vote against it
Being with Bill caused her to abstain which I guess the blog thinks nets her an honorable mention.

4. I hope the spouse of the blog writer
doesn't expect him or her to be there for them when they are sick given the bloggers apparent disrespect for her doing that. BTW we do know how she would have voted given that she opposed the very same bill in 2002 but I guess doing research like that was beyond the scope of the blogger.

8. Thanks for the info on her record.
I've only been really been paying attention to politics since like July, and only really really paying attention since nov. 3.

10. When last given the opportunity to vote...
...in 2001, she voted with the Republicans FOR the Bankruptcy Reform Bill. She also accepts large donations from MBNA.

5. I agree . . .
Hillary shouldn't be on there. She didn't vote for the bill, and it wasn't like she was absent because she was on vacation or something. Her husband was having surgery. Give her a break.

6. How did Hillary vote on the cloture thing?
If she voted to allow the bill to go forward, knowing she wouldn't be there for the final vote, that could be interpreted as voting "for" it. Bill's upcoming surgery was known to all of us, and certainly to Hillary, before the cloture vote, so it wasn't a case of an unplanned medical emergency.

7. She was at the bedside of her husband who was having surgery...
why the creator of this cover feels that is dishonorable is beyond me, but it makes me discount the whole thing.

9. No she wasn't
I said the cloture vote. Bill was golfing with Poppy the day before his surgery. His life was never considered to be at risk during this procedure. Nobody questions Hillary being there on the day OF the procedure, but she wasn't hanging around the hospital two days previously when the cloture vote was taken, because Bill wasn't there.

11. Ummm...she voted against invoking cloture (the correct way)....
So your point seems moot...which I was attempting to point out to you. This stuff is easy to look up. You should do it and get your facts straight before you bash a Democratic Senator.

And, I have been by my wife's bedside when she has had even a minor procedure. I have my priorities straight.

12. Don't dishonor a Democratic senator
for putting her priorities straight.
