There's a Blitz of Bush Social Security ads on CNN tonight - and they suck

Wow. Desperation. Seeing several ads every 15 minutes from PVAVoterfund.com in favor of the...ahem..."Bush plan".

Ad says and shows social security heading for an iceberg.

Then describes solution:

1) VOLUNTARY private accounts. (2) no payroll tax increases, (3) no changes for 55+

What am I missing here? You're saying we're heading for an iceberg - AHHHH! -- and the solution is 1) VOLUNTARY changes by some people (and if voluntary, I assume could mean that it wouldn't happen), 2) no change and 3) no change.

How is this solving the problem?

Poor poor ad. Not persuasive at all.

1. Shhhhhhhh......we don't want them to know.... if it's that bad then
hopefully even their own folks won't pay any attention or get turned off.

2. I hope so too
but then I thought the people would not fall for the Swift Boat Ads.

It all boils down to this question: Can you trust Bush?

I never have, but I don't know what it will take to wake the majority of Americans up.

5. Someone asked earlier if
there were private accounts, would they be considered an asset in a bankruptcy. Good question.
