Could Hillary Clinton Have What It Takes To Defeat The Democrats In 2008?

That is a headline from this weeks The Onion. (Front Page)

I just thought it was funny... and perhaps had a ring of truth to it.

ON EDIT: Link fixed.

2. That is funny!
Scrolling through the threads, I kept noticing that title. At finally thought I better check in... this surprised me. I thought this was going to be a list of all of the Hillary advantages: constant media attention, the head of her PAC now running ACT, and all the money.

This is funny...sad, but funny.

4. Sure, no support among the progressives...
... and millions of ignorant rubes who think she's a "feminazi".

But she'd have the center-right-leaning millionaire, liberal-on-social-issues vote all sewn up! She might even amass 40% of the popular vote!

5. She'll short-curcuit all that hate
Think about what just happened to us. All the anti Bush books, the movies, all of it - it actually worked against us in the end. The same will be the case with Clinton. These divisive figures have a strange way of winning in the end.
