Durbin's amendment holding Rethugs to account re median income test
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 03:26 PM by flpoljunkie
The average median income in the United States in 2004 was $41,666--DOWN .8% from 2003!

Those at or below the median income for their state, would not be required to pass a "means tests" for repayment--called for in the egregious bankruptcy bill, skewed toward banks and credit card companies.

Don't you just love the Bush/Cheney economy!

1. It's amazing me that Repugs aren't outraged by their
reps over this bankruptcy reform (created, according to Sen. Durbin, by credit card companies-and why/how can these companies wield such power?) and screaming bloody murder. This isn't a partisan issue. It can affect any one of us and/or our families.
