Hollywood and the Homeland. This was inevitable: The Homeland Security Department, like the Pentagon and other agencies, has hired a liaison to work with Hollywood moviemakers and scriptwriters, according to USA Today. Even before adding the new position, the department helped out with last year's Tom Hanks movie The Terminal. That didn't exactly portray bureaucrats in a flattering light (I mean, please, how hard is it to figure out how to get rid of a foreigner stuck in an airport?), so maybe they could use the help.
