Since America obviously likes dumb leaders. Intelligence is not an asset. We need a plain-speaking, dumb, man-of-the-people - just like Dubya. I'm at a loss to find anyone as dumb, yet so Machivellian. What's the problem? Do we not have any "dumb" Democrats?

4. I think you're right
Most of the spectacularly stupid Congressmen also combine ruthlessness with their dumbfuckery, which makes us err on the side of street smarts.

Miller might be a contender if his problem weren't a combination of hepatic encepalopathy and early Alzheimer's. He didin't start out this dumb.

Bunning may be the stupidest Congressman in the history of the republic.

23. Well that happens to you when one gets Rabies...
you see one day Zell was bitten by a racoon in the woods, and he never got treated for it and...long story short that is the reason why he foams at the mouth when he speaks and doesn't make and sense either...hehehehehehe.

Sonny Bono's widow. She's dumb as a box of rocks. I saw her ask questions at a televised hearing once. It was painful to watch. She had no idea what she was talking about. She may be a nice person, but she's in no way qualified to be an elected official.

edit: sp.

12. Oops! Sorry. I'll nominate Zell then.
I actually voted for him when he ran for governor of GA. He didn't seem so stupid then - a little crazy - but not stupid. He's gotten much stupider since then. Fortunately, he's no longer in the Senate. Unfortunately, he was replaced by the Max Cleland hating Saxby Chambliss.

11. Its not bs...
...A draft would solidify the anti-war movement and motivate them to be heard.

13. Sorry, Rangel's...
one of the slickest guys in the house.

The draft thing was a calculated manuever to embarass some of the others and impress his district. It didn't look like it worked to many, but it impressed the hell out of the important people-- his constituents. They knew exactly what he was doing.

14. How about Jerry Springer?
He's not in office currently, but he's expressed interest in running for both the Senate and for governor of Ohio. And America knows him as the host of one of the dumbest TV shows in history. Hell, he could even send out some of his past guests to campaign from him.

he is actually a really smart, progressive guy, and i think he would be a great asset to us if he got elected. but it is possible that the sheeple would never figure that out. win-win.

21. Hate to break it to you, but most of both parties are pretty dumb
Ever talk to any of them? I have, and they are so clueless on most issues you wouldn't believe it. Maybe ignorant is a better term. They spend so much time in DC they have no clue what is happening in the real world to real people.
