Christian Porn site : What do you think?
XXXchurch exists to bring awareness, openness, accountability and recovery to the church, society and individuals in the issues of pornography and to begin to provide solutions through non-judgmental and creative means. XXXchurch is here to make you think, react and to decide where you stand on the issues of porn. We're not here to sling mud, but to shove the envelope and try and do some good.

Teenagers
Fact of life is that teens like to look at porno. Hey, who doesn't? The problem is that nobody is giving them the other side of the story. We tell them to stay away from crack and not to drink too much, but how come no one is letting them know that Porn Boulevard is a dead end.

The Founders

Mike Foster and Craig Gross are the founders of XXXchurch.com. These young pastors are forging the new frontier of ministry and are delivering a dynamic message to churches and our society. Their message is powerful and relevant to today's culture as they encourage individuals to live a life of outrageous Christianity. It's about taking a risk and connecting with the people in a relevant way. Find out more about Mike and Craig at www.TheGoofballs.com

Why is there no porn on your site?
There is no porn on our site because we think porn leaves you hanging. We are here to give you truth and inspiration, not nude pics.

They sell items like: "Jesus Loves Porn" T-shirts, Jesus action figures, Jesus air freasheners, and a 7" tall carved image of Jesus who's eyes follow you around the room.

The site states that porn is a fact of life and gives advice on how to handle porn in your life. It also has a "prayer Wall" where people can enter a prayer request and links to cartoon mascots for young people like Sydnee, the NOHO spokes model, giving advice to Christian youth about subects like pledges not to dress like a "HO", and "Pete The Porno Puppet" suggesting to kids, who find their parent's stash of porn, to encourage their parents to say NO to porn. Pete has a 30 sec. video which takes a while to load but is pretty professional.

1. DUMB
horrible idea....porn is dumb in general. But its clear to me that they're just trying to cash in on the supposed "sudden conservatism" in the country and the evangelical movement.

I dont buy it.

3. To be fair, these guys have been around long before the election.
I, in my non-cynical way choose to take them at their word.

5. Hell, they ought to show those fundies some porn
...we know they look at it anyway, may as well give them Jaysus-Sponsored Porn and keep them busy....then maybe they'll be a bit less frustrated and won't be so quick to tell others how to live their lives. Half of the Bible stories are pornographic, what with all the selling of daughters into slavery, and lying down with the wrong sort, seed spilling, and so forth.

Some wag already has come up with a site that discusses this very subject (no porn stars acting out the parts, though, just the odd cartoon) and it has the fundies in a swivet, by the looks of the comments: http://www.biblesexstories.com/

7. you may be thinking of Noah...
Lot was the one who escaped, with family, from Soddom and Gomorah.
I'm assuming, since you said "Lot and his daughters", you might be referring to when, after the flood, Noah went to town and met his daughters, disquised as ladies of the evening, got drunk and procreated.
Supposedly, because after the flood, there being a shortage of men. (of course, then, why was there a town?--its very confusing)

or, I myself am confused...but this is what I recall, and not having a bible in front of me at the moment.
