NPR's "Great Black Hope"
(no offense was intended)

O.K. Now that I got your attention, you all should hear some, if not ALL, of today's "News & Notes with Ed Gordon," NPR's newest, and most promising NEW show, which focuses on the News, issues, and opinions, from an African-American point of view. Ed Gordon took over the spot left by Tavis Smiley when he quit in December 2004.

Ed's NPR show is beginning to click, today's was especially good.

Other than the first "Jeff Gannon" mention today, he had a VERY Tough RW Spinner on, and handled him and his relentless, Rapid-fire spin, the best I've heard on NPR, possibly any MSM show, in the last 4 years.

You really should take a few minutes to hear this interview, if you want to hear what we are up against.

Bush Pitches Social Security Message to Youths

With opposition to his plans to revise Social Security crystallizing among seniors, President Bush has shifted much of his pitch from baby boomers to their children. We hear from Los Angeles-area students, Rock the Vote President Jehmu Greene and Danny Diaz of the Republican National Committee.
