Well guess what I heard about this this morning on the Today Show.

So manly man Bush comes out and DEMANDS that Syria do what it already said it would.

MSM is surely cranking up the "praise Bush the fearless visionary leader" graphics as we speak.

Oh God they are going to be taking credit for this for a LOOOOOOONG time.

ARNOLD, Md. -- President Bush on Wednesday demanded in blunt terms that Syria get out of Lebanon, saying the free world is in agreement that Damascus' authority over the political affairs of its neighbor must end now.

2. The MSM whores have gone off the deep end ..
trying to paint a picture of Democracy blooming all over the middle east and Dubya as the great liberator. Where can I place a bet on civil war breaking out in Lebanon?

8. This reeks of a staged event....
Where the deal was made but someone screwed up the timing. Damascas and * probably were using different time zones.

Kind of reminds me when * was on the "dog and pony show" trail, where the plant, excuse me, I mean the concerned citizen, asked * a question AFTER he had given the answer.

This would be funny if so much were not at stake.

9. The Sun concedes to Bush demands and will rise tomorrow.
Edited on Wed Mar-02-05 12:11 PM by Tierra_y_Libertad
As a further concession to Bush's plans for celestial stability, the sun has agreed to rise in the east and set in the west. Insiders believe that this achievment was due to secret threats of having Condaleeza Rice perform a naked Sun Dance on the Washington Mall under the new hard line policy advocated by Alberto Gonzales and John Negroponte.

President Bush says that he will humbly accept the title of "The Glorious Bringer of Light" along with his other titles, as soon as the bi-partisan bill passes in the congress. One Democrat threatened to filibuster the bill, but was persuaded that the Democrats should "hold their fire" for the upcoming bill to make obsolete the presidency and replace it with "Imperator for Life". But, that would only be opposed if the rider regarding the funding of concentration camps was excessive.

10. "Democracy is on the march" in the Middle East,
or hadn't you heard? I had to turn off the news last night
as the media whores were climaxing all over the story that
we doubters would soon have to admit we were wrong about
The Idiot Son's policy.

Well, I've got "news" for them. The same goals could be
accomplished without 1500 US troops dead (so far), without
10,000+ US troops wounded in action (so far), without 100,000+
Iraqi citizens being killed (so far), and without the billions
of tax dollars being spent to settle The Idiot Father's old
score with Saddam.

Makes me ill.

15. this is what politics is
venal, crass, & shameless.

and this white house is good at it.

i really hate to see the PNAC plan getting any credit whatsoever. i beleive that the transition to "democracy" in the arab world could have been achieved without this war. and doing it without wanton bloodshed on our part would have gone much further towards demonstrating our goodwill (assuming we have that) & ending terror.
