1. Mostly what was expressed was anger at that Wead character for being
so disloyal as to record the private conversations of our great leader. Very little discussion of the fact that it finally comes out that Bush did drugs, except to mention the fact that he was politically savvy enough never to deny that he ever used drugs.
2. My brother said he heard the tapes and he felt they didn't put
Bush in a positive light. My brother reads mostly the Wall Street Journal and probably watches standard cable news networks. But he said he never heard of Sibel Edmonds when I dropped the name.
3. It was a distraction and contrived...it's good it didn't go anywhere
The message was that Bush is honorable because he cares so much about the children and being a good leader. That was the BS contrived message. It was yet another WH planted story to control the message.
