Lieberman is still wavering in my opinion.
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 04:18 PM by indianablue
here is some of his press releases

He does support privatization as a carve-out plan that would not jeopardize the benefits that people currently receive or add to the debt,” Aden Wansbury said.

*(Bush's 55 an older plan)*

She would not, however, rule out Lieberman's support for private accounts if the plan would not jeopardize benefits or add to the national debt.

(^^^ That line says it all cause Bush says you wil make up the difference in the market so no real cut.)

These guys are wavering how much more plain can you be when you say would would not rule out private accounts.

In the words of Mike Malloy 'Have I told yet tonight how much I hate these people!'

When this issue finally comes to a vote we will see who's a Democrat and who's a Republican wanna be.

Once these clowns vote for this can we ask them to leave the party I would rather have republicans in office than fake Democrats like Lieberman.

2. Ok, Where is Minority Leader Reid and Minority Whip Durbin?
They are the one who need to confront Lieberman over this. They are demanding Democrats to be unified over this issue. It's time Reid puts the hammer on Lieberman.

4. Yeah I know makes you wonder what is going on.
If this bill ever leaves the Senate it is a done deal. It is possible that this won't get done till after the 2006 elections when the GOP gains more seats in the House and the Senate.

5. His comments on Social Security are not base comments.
He is all but towing the Bush, Inc line.

What is with these people.

7. I think it is very hard to be a staunch Israel supporter and a free
human being in this particular year. There is so much fear that people like Liberman has lived under ore the years. We watch the Israel-Palestine thing on the TV and it drives us to distraction. How would you feel if it was your homeland (be you Israeli in your heart or Palestinian). How much fear have you lived with your whole dam life. I am guess that Liberman will pretty much be open to coercion and all sorts of 'bullying' from the Bush White House and this juncture. And the Bush White House and the Neocons, being the people that they are, will take advantage of the situation and extract a pound of steaming flesh from the Libermans of the world. Give Liberman a couple of years to get his sea legs. Rove/Cheney are big enough assholes that that 'Coatgate' thing may have just been a psychological terror meant to coral the people who actually get on their knees every night and pray for peace and security in the area – into a type of victimhood.

I have no idea about the coat - but psychological torture is not beyond the Bush White House.
