he said he was "stepping down because of his family" and people were getting into "his private life" and nonsense like that. He wasn't even getting paid was he? Wasn't he a "volunteer"?

that part of the qualifications of being a "reporter" means at least 50% of your income must come from your "job" as a "reporter". It was in that vein that Talon News (Gopusa? Bobby Eberle?) provided "Jeff Gannon" with a stipend to meet that "requirement".

I think I read that in regards to his application to "cover" Congress.
