Did "Your Vote Count?" Receipt? ATM Machines Across America!!!

A suggestion from a North Carolina Activist. How about a "sticker" on every ATM MACHINE where we live to raise awareness of "Paperless Trail Voting Machines?

We DU'ers could do this on every ATM Machine where we live.... Is there a better phrase to get the message across?

On Edit: Is it better to say: "Will YOUR VOTE COUNT?" or "DO YOU WANT YOUR VOTE TO COUNT?" or "DID MY VOTE COUNT?" or "MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT?"

Then put "VOTING MACHINES SHOULD HAVE RECEIPTS" after that? :shrug:

there is a diebold atm machine a block away from my house and it gives receipts...everytime I walk by that thing and see the big ol'diebold logo I want to push the thing over and drag it into the middle of the street!

:D They use a "verified auditable paper trail" so they are the "Good Guys" ...just being a "responsible citizen."

Surely this isn't "grafitti with a "spray can." The Diebold driver can just "peel it off" when he does his regular deliveries. :evilgrin:

I'm just acting as an ordinary citizen as part of "Crime Watch" in my neighborhood. Isn't that what all good Repugs do? :eyes:

13. Good one....Would fit on a sticky. But I need to rethink the placement.

Do the photo's show your hands? All of your movements? If that's the case I'd better rethink it. Perhaps near the ATM's would be a better solution. I don't want to set off alarms or have the Feds after me. Perhaps on a nearby telephone pole as one drives out... Would have to use something larger than a sticky, though.

I still think it's worthwhile doing to raise peoples awareness. I was at a Dem Precinct Meeting tonight to elect new officers for 2005 and we gave a presentation on BBVoting and there were some there who had no idea what it was... We need to do something to connect ATM Machines with receipts to the same machines that losts votes in FLA/NC and elsewhere over the last election cycles. :shrug:
