Dean is toast.
Having just been awakened from a peaceful slumber, I decided to go to one of my favorite places in the world, a bookstore in search of a good book and some eye-opening coffee. Lo and behold I ventured into a Borders in Des Moines. I got my coffee, ( I recommend the house blend) and sat down to plan my day. Not far away from me was a political discussion by other patrons who sounded like they were a group of regulars. Naturally the two repugs in the group started talking about Dean, declaring him toast. That must be the talking point of the day for the little cretins. The repugs looked like they were getting sexually aroused at the thought of Dean running against chimpy.

manner. And, I don't know if we can use RW taking points to 'make our point'? I guess we'll leave it to the mods. Seems like a thinly veiled attempt to repeat the pro Clark dogma to me?

You know the "we must elect a southern soldier or were doomed" meme? nuke :eyes:

27. does the dean campaign pass out memos on how to try and deflect
criticism with humor? it seems silly responses seem to abound instead of meaningful discourse.

16. Funny
I heard Tom Delay (R-Worlds biggest Asshole) pontificating on just that very subject this morning on Meet The Press.

Must be the biggest RNC talking point of the year. All you hear is that they're coming in their pants at the prospect of a Dean nomination. They sound scared.

I've never seen a movement jump up bigger, and faster than the Dean campaign. To here them talk, he has no support in the world except Kim Jong Il, Sadaam Hussein, and Osama. I guess the next endorsment will come from Alfred E. Neuman.

14. It's provocative, not inflammatory
It's also pro-Dean from the way I read it (the poster's point seems to be that the Republicans are being self-delusional).

Why must people always post the GOPervert talking points in here? Sometimes this place is too much like freak republic.

that one of your favorite places in the world is the Borders in Des Moines.

Isn't there an independent bookstore in the area which would provide better companionship?

19. Yeah and we all know how repukes are never wrong...

They think Dean will be a push over... I say good.

Some people on the right are trying to raise the red flag that Dean will not be easy to beat at all, but the dittoheads are not paying attention.

Let them assue that Dean can't win.

Helps us that much more.

20. Yeah chimpy,
bring it on!

The dittoheads don't want to pay attention. If they stopped beating their war drums for even a second, some of them might come to the realization that they've put their hope and faith in the biggest laughingstock to sit in the WH for a long time.

26. No, Republicans are more intelligent than us, we must do the opposite
of what they want us to do if we want to succeed. They are much better at knowing who is weakest and strongest of all our candidates. Republicans have spent more time researching our candidates than we have.

Listen to the Republicans.

21. The last time
they were sexually aroused, they failed to oust Clinton, lost Gingrich and Livingston - and are still all wound up about it.

I say the more sexually aroused Republicans are, the better off we are. Dean will play them like a fiddle.

23. Republicans.... sexual arousal...
I *know* they started talking about Hillary at some point. Don't even bother denying it.

For any Republicans thinking the General Election in 2004 will promote their sexual arousal, I have two words: Premature Ejaculation.

(And that's with *any* Dem opponent, including Dean!)

Well I just went to a bookstore and I overheard about 50 republicans talking about how they were going to try and convince democrats they wanted to run against Dean because they were actually scared of him.
I think my republcans trump your republicans.
