Some good news on Alan Keyes' daughter

I was at DailyKos reading and catching up there and I read how Alan Keyes' daughter now has a place to stay and has scored a scholarship. She plans to advocate on displaced gay teens. So sounds like some good came out of this.

Digest version of what happened? All I know is that she came out recently. Is she underage and he threw her out?

2. She's a college kid

Looks to me to be about 19 or 20. She recently "came out" and her father kicked her out of the house. For a long time it looked like she wouldn't have a place to go and nothing for her college. Something happened though and she got a place and scholarship. More is at dailykos.com on the main page and they have a link to the orginial article I believe.

Isn't that what Jesus said? Does Alan Keyes worship a different Jesus?

I just wanted to post and tell an update on her. :) I guess she's "come to the dark side" so to speak. :) It's nice to know she's being taken care of after what happened.
