I attended a "town meeting" forum
this morning, Democrat style, (no audience black lists), hosted by Congressman Tierney. The subject was Social Security "reform". He had some charts and handouts, of course, and an extremely informed panel. There were representatives from AARP, AFL/CIO, and a Boston College researcher for economic matters.

I have missed, somewhere, that the money diverted from SS into the "personal accounts" is a LOAN that has to be paid back after retirement, from those reduced benefits everyone will get!
What a deal!

The Congressman was unable to go into a lot of detail in the limited time he had, and I was not able to get in a question, but his chief of staff promised me he will put together a written detailed explanation and put it on the Congressman's E-Letter site.
