Why are you attacking Gannon for being a Christian?
Oh. You're not? Well, if it's not you, who is it? I mean, the liberal Washington Post's Howard Kurtz wouldn't have let Gannon make the accusation if it weren't true, right?

<edit>

"People criticize me for being a Christian and having some of these questionable things in my past," he said. "I believe in a God of forgiveness."

25. But according to Falwell & Robertson, the gays were to blame for 9-11
I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America, I point the finger in their face and say: you helped this happen." - Falwell, 9-13-01

So if that's the case, JimmyJeff is guilty of that. Maybe that's what he asked forgiveness for?

a Christian! I thought he was under attack for being a male prostitute fake journalist with a fake name that had access to the WH and classified CIA documents. Boy is my face red. OK, God Boy, take your religion and get outta here...but you can remain being a male prostitute fake journalist with a fake name that has access to the WH and classified CIA documents.

"Everyone is attacking me for being a fraudulent Christian. A hypocrite. The kind that Jesus railed against." I think that's what people are saying, he just left out a few words.

12. IOKYIAR tends to erase all barriers, doesn't it? Good observation!
Sometimes we need to remember how far they push the limits of common sense and how we got here!
Somewhere in that time line must be Faux's "How to marry a millionaire"

13. Believing in "a God of forgiveness" should not preclude --
Edited on Sat Feb-19-05 09:50 AM by Old Crusoe
-- believing in a constitutional republic, which is the entity under attack in the Bush-Gannon case.

A U.S. president, questionably elected -- twice -- presides over a paid cadre of media shills who in turn feed distortions to the citizenry. Unacceptable.

God may be looking the other way for all I know, but common sense says this is cheating, pure and simple.

Gannon is "forgiveable" because he is a Chrisitian? So he doesn't have
to practice what the Neocons preach?? So he can do things the Neocons
claim to revile, and its okay???

My head is spinning like Linda Blair.

So given that, we can't possibly be attacking Gannon for being a Christian. It isn't logical.

I thought some of them were quite recent, actually.

Everybody becomes a Christian at sentencing time, don't they. This reminds me of a jailhouse conversion.
